Twenty winter scenes: snowmen, mittens, sledding and a snowy cabin. Lots of open white space, which makes them good for younger children.
Winter is the one theme where most of the page being white is the correct answer, so these are drawn to work either way: color the snow or leave it, and the picture still reads. A snowman, a sled going down a slope, mittens on a line, a cabin with smoke going up, a row of icicles along a roof edge.
Ways to use these
- Leave the snow alone. Coloring everything except the ground is a real technique and these are composed for it. Point it out before they start.
- White crayon on colored paper. Print onto pale blue or grey paper and a white crayon on the snow suddenly does something.
- Indoor day supply. The days you need these are the days nobody is going outside. Keep a printed stack in the drawer.

Are these Christmas pages?
Mostly not. The set is built on weather, clothing and animals. But three designs do carry Christmas cues: the stockings above a fireplace (16), the reindeer (14) and the snow globe (15). Skip those three if the set needs to stay neutral.

Yes. Number 2 is drawn six fold symmetric with matching branches, which makes it the most mandala like page in the seasonal sets and the best one here for an adult.
