20 Spring Coloring Pages (Free Printable PDFs)
Twenty spring scenes. First tulips, nesting birds, umbrellas and puddles, a garden waking up. Fresh open shapes that suit bright greens and pastels.
Spring has the clearest visual vocabulary of any season, and this set works through it rather than repeating the same tulip: rain and boots and puddles, a bird carrying a twig to a nest, a lamb in a meadow, blossom coming out on a branch, a seedling pushing up out of soil.
Ways to use these
- Track the season. Print one a week through March and April and the wall display builds itself as the season actually progresses.
- Rain on the window. The umbrella (3), the rain boots and puddle (19) and the frog at the pond (14) exist for the day outdoor play gets cancelled.
- Bring the real thing in. Put a jar of what is actually flowering next to the print and let them match colors instead of guessing.
Every design downloads as a US Letter PDF that also scales cleanly to A4 with “Fit to printable area”. Print in grayscale, there is no color in the files. Ordinary copier paper is fine for crayons and pencils; use cardstock or slip a spare sheet underneath for markers. Free to print at home, in a classroom or in a library, see the license.
Frequently asked questions
What is in the set?
Tulips, a nesting bird, an umbrella, a butterfly, a watering can with sprouts, a rabbit, cherry blossom, a rainbow, a ladybug, a chick, a potted plant, a kite, a bee, a frog, a basket of flowers, a snail, gardening gloves, a lamb, rain boots and a seedling.
Does this overlap with the Easter set?
Barely. A chick and a rabbit appear in both, but the Easter set is built around eggs and baskets, and this one is built around weather and growth.
Can I use these on a classroom display?
Yes. Print, color and display as many as you need. Classroom use is covered in full by the license.
